Ruthenberg 7 Day Caliper grade set of Volcanos.

Beautiful Revesre bent shank Volcano with hand cut Cumberland stem and a fancy handmade .925 Sterling Silver trim ring. The blast on this pipe shows excellent ring grain around the entire bowl and up the shank. It is a shallow and craggy blast. The pipe is about a group4/5 in size. Measurements are: 13/16" dia. bowl is 1 3/8" deep. Outside the bowl is 1 3/4" high and the length of the pipe is 5 3/4" long.

Awesome long shank Volcano shape with a hand cut Cumberland stem and a handmade .925 double Sterling silver trim ring. The blast on this pipe shows beautiful ring grain that goes around the entire bowl and shank. The double silver band really adds a touch of elegance to the shape. The measurements are 13/16" dia. bowl is 1 1/2" deep. Outside the bowl is 2" high and the length is 6 3/8" long.

Superb Freehand shape Volcano with a hand cut Black Ebonite stem and an Ivory trim ring. The blast is very well defined on this one and shows, again, excellent ring grain around the bowl and shank. The bottom of the pipe was left with the natural plateau which gives the pipe a nice touch. The pipe will sit when put onto the table or desk. The pipe is about a group 5/6 in size. The measurements are: 13/16" dia. bowl is 1 5/8" deep. Outside the bowl is 2" high and the length of the pipe is 6 3/8" long.

Very nice freehand Volcano shape in the Danish tradition. The pipe has a hand cut Cumberland half saddle bit stem and a fancy .925 Sterling Silver trim ring. The top of the bowl has been beveled into the tobacco chamber which gives a nice touch to the pipe. Nice longer shank on this one too. The pipe is about a group 6 in size. The measurements are: 7/8" dia. bowl is 1 5/8" deep. Outside the bowl is 2" high and the length of the pipe is 6 1/4" long.

Very unique Poker style Volcano (if there is such a thing) with a hand cut Cumberland saddle bit stem and a fume top on the bowl. The blast on this one is very defined and shows very even ring grain around the bowl and shank. The fume top adds a touch to the pipe making it look like the Volcano was scorched from erupting. The pipe has very nice balance and will sit on the desk. Nice group 5 in size. The measurements are: 13/16" dia. bowl is 1 1/2" deep. Outside the bowl is 2 1/8" high and the length is 6" long.

This Freehand shaped Volcano was inspired by the thick shank that comes on an Author shape. The pipe is very beefy in size too. The pipe has a hand cut Black Ebonite stem and a .925 fancy Sterling Silver trim ring, which I call buried rope design. It wide but not too wide and adds a nice touch to the shape. The ring grain speaks for itself on this light brown stained pipe. The pipe will sit on the desk and actually rocks back and forth. This one is a group 6 in size. The measurements are: 7/8" dia. bowl is 1 5/8" deep. Outside the bowl is 2 1/4" high and the length of the pipe is 6 7/8" long.

This Volcano is more of a traditional shaped Volcano with a bit of flare as the sides are radiused up to the top of the bowl. The blast is deep and craggy and the ring grain wanders around the bowl and up the shank nicely. The pipe has a half diamond shank which is rounded on the bottom. The Cumberland half saddle stem has a Cocobolo wood inlay and ends on the stem following the triangle shape of the shank. The pipe is a group 6 in size. The measurements are: 7/8" dia. bowl is 1 3/4" deep. Outside the bowl is 2 1/4" high and the length of the pipe is 6 3/8" long.
