Beautiful smooth straight grain 1/2 bent Banker/Author variation with a hand cut Cumberland stem. The grain on this pipe shows excellent straight grain around the entire bowl and then up the shank. The has alot of nice birdseye, and is perfectly centered on the bottom and top of the bowl. I call this a variation of a Banker/Author shape because it has an oval shank on it that flows nicely to the button of the stem. The Cumberland stem matches well with the slightly contrasted stain on the pipe. The pipe has very thick walls and will make and excellent Virgina flake smoker. The pipe does pass a pipe cleaner no problem. This is a nosewarmer to at a little over 5" long. The pipe is about a group 4 in size. I left the pictures large so that the graining could be seem better on the pipe. Please use the lighter in the background as a size refence. The measurements are as follows: 13/16" dia. tobacco chamber is 1 3/8" deep.
