Awesome Natural Vergen crosscut Lovat shape with a handcut Cumberland stem. The blast on this one shows excellent ring grain and straight grain coming through the blast. The crosscut on this pipe is front to back and looks great. The straight grain goes horizontal on the sides of the bowl, on both sides, and then turns and goes vertical down the shank. The front and back of the bowl shows excellent tight bridseye also. The Cumberland stem goes great with the natural finish of the pipe. On the top view picture it looks like the bowl is out of round but it is not. It is just the way the picture was taken that makes it look this way. The pipe is a nice size at about a large group 5 small group 6 . Take note, I left the pictures large so the grain would show better in them. Use the Old Boy lighter in the background for reference. It has nice thick walls along with the longer shank which will produce a nice cool smoke. This one wil color nicely too because it was a very porous piece of briar. The measurements of the pipe are as follows: 13/16" dia. tobacco chamber is 1 3/4" deep. Outside the bowl is 2 1/8" high and the length of the pipe is 6 1/8" long. $295.00 plus shipping, (international shipping is extra) comes with my leaher pipe glove and box.SOLD
