Nice little sandblasted Volcano shape with a Bamboo shank and a Cumberland stem and spacer (between the Bamboo and the shank). The blast on this Volcano is deep and craggy and shows excellent ring grain around the entire bowl. The Bamboo fits well with this shape and keeps the pipe light in weight. The staining of the pipe is a deep Brown color, a new stain color for me, that I have been working on. The pictures dont do this pipe any justice as it is so hard for me to get the Bamboo and the blast of the pipe to come through accurately in the pictures. The top view shows the warm off White color of the Bamboo, as the other pictures the color didnt come through very well. The pipe passes a fluffy pipe cleaner no problem. The bamboo is left in its natural state inside the shank it is not lined, except, the mortise is lined with a Delrin sleeve so the stainless steel tenon on the stem doesnt exert pressure directly on the Bamboo. The Delrin makes for a nice fit also of the stem to the pipe. The pipe is about a group 3/4 in size. The measurements are as follows: 13/16" dia. bowl is just a hair under 1 1/4" deep. Outside the bowl is 1 1/2" high. The length of the pipe is 5 5/8" long. And the weight of the pipe is 37 grams. $275.00 plus shipping, comes with my leather pipe glove and box.SOLD
