Beautiful straight grain smooth modified Billiard shape with a hand cut Cumberland stem. It figures, I come home from the Chicago show and the first pipe that I go to make to get back into the swing of thing's and it's a smooth, go figure! Anyways, the pipe has excellent straight grain around the entire bowl and then down the shank. The pipe is just slightly bent with about a 1/16th bend to the stem. The shape of the bowl is slightly tapered hence the modified Billiard name. The top of the bowl was left a plateau top and gives the pipe a nice look. The Cumberland stem is very comfortable to hold in your teeth. The pipe weighs 67 grams. That's light for a pipe this size. The pipe is a group 6 in size. I left the bowl uncoated for those who like them this way. If you would like me to coat it, please email me and let me know and will do so before I ship it out to you.
