Beautiful sandblasted straight Dublin shape with a handcut Cumberland saddle bit stem with a Curly Maple inlay. The blast on this pipe shows excellent ring grain around the entire bowl and shank. The pictures were left large so the details in the blast could be seen. The blast is deep and craggy. The staining of the pipe is Black with Brown highlites coming through which matches the Cumberland stem perfectly. The Curly Maple inlay on the stem is a nice contrast to the colors of the pipe. The Maple has an iridescent look to it also with lots of depth. The Cumberland stem is very comfortable to hold in your teeth and you can because the pipe only weighs 40 grams! Thats very light for a pipe with this thick of walls. The walls of the bowl are 7/16" thick and have a nice thickness all the way down to the bottom of the bowl. That will ensure a cool smoke all the way down to the bottom. This briar was one of the most porous pieces of wood I have worked on for quite sometime. The pipe is about a group 4 in size. The measurements are as follows: 13/16" dia. bowl is just over 1 3/8" deep. Outside the bowl is 1 3/4" high and the length of the pipe is 5 3/8" long. $315.00 plus shipping, (international shipping is extra) comes with my leather pipe glove and box.SOLD
