Nicely executed Natrual Vergen Danish style squat Apple shape with a hand cut Black Ebonite stem, with an Ivory inlay. The blast on this pipe shows excellent ring grain around the entire bowl and up the shank. This one just missed being a Caliper grade. The blast is deep and craggy and shows alot of detail in the blast. The natural finish of the pipe goes well with the Black stem, and the Ivory is a nice contrast. The stem is sligthly flared where the ivory inlay is placed on it, to give it that Danish style. The oval shank is nice and wide, also a trait the Danes use. The thick walls on this one will make for a nice cool smoke. It will be an excellent Virgina smoker. The bowl is left uncoated, if you would like me to coat it let me know and I will do so before I ship it out to you. The pipe is about a group 5 in size. Measurements are as follows: 13/16" dia. bowl is 1 1/2" deep.
