Awesome Cavalier shape with a hand cut Cumberland stem and plug. The blast on this pipe shows excelent ring grain around the bowl and up the shank. The staining is a Black with Reddish/Brown highlites coming through the blast. The Cumberland stem and plug matches the staining well. I dont make many of these(actually this is only the second one with the first being made about 8 years ago). The Cavalier bowl is kind of in the Egg shape catagory and has nice thick walls. That, along with the long shank will ensure a cool dry smoke. The pipe is marked with my *XL* stamp as it is larger in size. The drain plug is nonfunctional . The pipe passes a pipe cleaner. The masurements are as follows: 7/8" dia. bowl is 2 1/4" deep. Outside the bowl is 2 3/4" high.
