Beautiful carved and then sand blasted 1/8 bent Dublin shape with a hand cut Black Ebonite stem. I am have been working on a new (for me) finishing technique, a carved finish that is then sandblasted. This is the first one to be put up for sale as it took some trial and error to learn how to refine this technique to my liking. Im very happy with the way this one came out. The blasting over the rusication gives the pipe great depth to the finish. And is very deep and craggy looking. It looks even better in person than the photos. I also am putting an *S* in the nomenclature to distinguish this finish from a blasted only finish. The pipe has been stained a Reddish/Brown stain that I use, and goes well with the Black stem material. The top of the pipe has been left the natural plateau and goes well with the ruggedness of the carve/blast. The pipe has nice thick walls at just under 1/2" thick, which will ensure a cool smoke. The stem is very comfortable to hold in your teeth and you can because the pipe only weighs 58 grams. Thats very light for a pipe this size. It is about a group 5-6 in size. The measurements are as follows: 13/16" dia. bowl is just over 1 3/4" deep.
