Another very deeply carved bent Apple shape with a hand cut Cumberland saddle bit stem and a handmade fancy .925 solid Sterling Silver trim ring. The carve on this apple is extremely deep and craggy, yet is soft to the touch with no sharp edges. It looks like if you picked it up it would cut you, yet is suprising when you feel how soft the carve feels. The pipe has very thick walls. The staining goes well with the Cumberland stem and matches it perfectly. The stem is very comfortable to hold in your teeth. The Silver trim ring adds a touch of class to the over all shape of the pipe. This is a larger pipe, but the balance is such that it will sit on the desk without tipping over, but was not made to be a sitter. The pipe is marked with my *XL* stamp to designate the larger size of the pipe. The pipe is about a group 6 in size. The measurements are: 7/8" dia. bowl is just over 1 5/8" deep.
