Nice 2 pipe set, a Lovat with a full saddle bit Cumberland stem, and a Canadian with a taper Cumberland stem.. Both are blasted pipe as you can see. Both have beautiful blasts that are deep and craggy around the entire bowl and shanks. The trim rings on both pipes make a nice accent that brings both pipe together in the set along with the matching stain color. The pipes come wityh the fitted case as well. I will describe the pipe individually below:
Nicely executed Lovat with a hand cut Cumberland stem and a .925 Sterling Silver ring. The blast on this oen is deep and craggy and shows lots of ring grain going around the bowl and shank. This is a larger piece and is marked with my *XL stamp to designate the larger size. The pipe is stamped 1/2 to designate the pipe as the first in the set. The stem is very comfortable to hold in your teeth. The pipe measures: 7/8" dia bowl is just over 2" deep. Outside the bowl is 2 3/8" high and the length of the pipe is 6 1/4" long.
Beautiful long shank Canadian with a hand cut Cumberland stem. The blast is very interesting on this pipe with lots of character. The blast shows lots of straight grain along with the ring grain which makes for a very interesting blast. This was one of the hardest pieces of briar that I have ever blasted too. This also is a larger piece and is marked as such *XL* to designate the larger size. The pipe is stamped 2/2 to designate the second pipe in the setThe silver ring adds a nice touch of class to the already classy shape. The pipe measures: 7/8" dia. bowl is just over 2" deep. Outside the bowl is 2 3/8" high and the length of the pipe is 6 7/8" long.
