Awesome cross grain Oliphant, with a handcut Black Ebonite stem, and an Olivewood trim ring. The grain on this pipe is perfectly centered. And the straight grain and birdseye are just dripping off this pipe. The straight grain is just dynamic, as is the tight birdseye that goes up the front of the bowl and down the bottom of the shank to the perfectly fitted stem. The grain follows the shape perfectly in all aspects! The pictures dont do the grain any justice on this pipe, and looks much nicer in person. The long shank wil make for a cool smoke. The over sized bowl will hold alot of tobacco too! Very thick walls and heel of the bowl will ensure that this pipe stays cool all the way to the end of the bowl of your favorite tobacco. This pipe is graded with my *Caliper* grade, and is also graded an XL sized pipe! I have only made 2 of this size and graded pipe in 4 years! And I'm sure I wont see many like this! The stem has an Olivewood trim ring and contrasts nicely with the staining of the pipe. Measures: 13?16" dia. bowl is 2 1/" deep.
